Only one in four Brazilian workers perform functions that allow them working from home, a modality that has gained the spotlight amid the Covid-19 pandemic and the need for social distance. An even lower chunk, of 17.8%, has the minimum infrastructure to work remotely, such as having a personal computer and access to electricity and the Internet, a study by Fundação Getulio Vargas found.
